Dr. Denise Thompson, Psy.D.

Hello! 

I’m Dr. Thompson. I earned my Doctorate in School Psychology from Capella University and my Master’s in Educational Psychology from Argosy University. My expertise lies in test administration and the diagnosis of mental health difficulties in both children and adults, particularly those affecting learning and social engagement.


My passion for supporting children and families has guided every step of my career. I’ve had the privilege of teaching future school psychologists as an adjunct faculty member at National Louis University and serving as Chair of Private Practice for the Florida Association of School Psychologists, where I worked to improve the way psychological services are delivered in private practice settings across Florida.

 I specialize in evaluating and supporting children with autism, ADHD, Learning Differences, and Social-emotional /Neurodivergent concerns. My passion is helping families gain clarity and confidence through personalized, high-quality psychological assessments and appropriate interventions and supports.  IBCCES-Certified Autism Specialist.
